How are you today? I hope you are having great June weather where ever you are. On my end it’s cloudy and cold. I know, not really June kind of weather lol

So I was watching the movie “He’s Just Not That Into You”. I have to say my favorite story line is the one with Gigi (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Alex (Justin Long). It’s just so cute and Gigi is a nightmare when it comes to dating which is why it’s so hilarious. But any their story line it’s not the one I want to talk about. The one that made me stop and think was Beth (Jennifer Aniston) and Neil (Ben Affleck). They were a really happy couple, living together, still not married after 8 years of being together. Well of course Ms. Beth was freaking out of the whole not being married thing and then ended up breaking up with a really good guy just because she didn’t have that ring on the finger, or a piece of paper.

So of course me being the eternal single gal, I shook my head and said to the TV screen (like the characters could hear me) “What an idiot!” But of course after I stopped to think (I know my brain still hurts from that LOL) and I asked myself, is it really necessary to get married? You are obviously happy with this person, you live together, and you make each other happy. Do you really need to have that paper that says that you are each other’s ball and chain?

So that’s my question for ya’ll today. “Is it really necessary to get married when you are already happy?” Let me know.

And that my love is a great question. You know from a fiscal point of view, I'd like to say that you get rewards for it and that is something that I truly love.

Yay for bonuses. I think personally that marriage is that seal enriches your life. But I personally find people getting married for the wrong reasons. And I think that's where it gets a bad rep.

Is it necessary? Possibly not. Is it necessary for me, yeah. I like stable things, things that last over time, grow in different ways; personally and through various levels of intimacy.

But that's me. When you get to that level, it honestly naturally progresses towards that. So yeah...marriage, totally cool but when its the right one. And what makes right one?

Well when he manages to do the one thing you always told yourself you would never let someone get close to. And he manages to get to that point. That says alot about him.

But every situation is different. As is every person.
