The 10 Best Halloween Movies

What do I love more than the creepy songs? The movies they belong to! Of course I have to watch any scary movie in bright daylight cause I am just too chicken to watch it at night but hey its okay, it just means that.....well that I'm chicken.

So here it is, what I think are the best movies and some reason why, cause you have to admit, Halloween has some of the best movies.


10. Psycho
The shower scene. Anyone who is any one gets a bit weirded out by the infamous shower scene. Even if you haven't seen it, you know that sometimes late at night, you check that shower very quickly. And sometimes when you see that soap scum, you run.

9. Halloween
A guy in a hockey mask walking around hacking people to death, and it doesn't occur to anyone to say "Hmmmmmm this could be bad." Oh where has our curiosity gone! lol. Great movie, but word of advice. If you see a really tall guy with a mask walking around, Confucius says "Run Forrest Run."

8. Nightmare on Elm street
Besides the fabulous makeup and showing off those gorgeous nails, the song with this movie makes it all. Yes it took them a gagillion times to kill him, he even had to go up against Jason to get some more brownie points, but it is scary none the less. Dont those nails make you wonder what the Nail Places charge him for a fill?

7. The Shining
I just have one word: Redrum. *shudder*

6. Silence of the Lambs
Something about him saying liver and favre beans with a nice Chianti can really make someone just shudder. Especially when he says it with such class. I don't know about you but I'd be running for the hills. Hands up in the air with the wind screaming behind me. EW!

5. Alien
I dont know if anyone else had this scare but didn't watching that thing attach to the face of the people just freak you out!! And then bam something comes out of your stomach. That is Pepto Bismol to the extreme. Scary as hell and makes you shudder to think the possibilities.

4. Poltergeist
Lets start with the girl looking into the TV, next going into the creepy instances with ghosts and finally the possessed clown. That did it for me!!! Great freakin movie!! Especially when praying your rosary and asking the ghosts not to go through the TV. "Look into the light!!!" *shudder*

3. Seven
Lust, Gluttony Greed, Sloth, Pride, Envy, Wrath.
A whole movie based on all this, and for a split second you actually wonder just how much we are so used to living with.

2. Exorcist
The music, the old school effects, and even better yet, the split-pea soup. Yeah that sums up a great movie and even better quote, "My idea of Heaven is a solid white nightclub with me as a headliner for all eternity, and they LOVE me."

And the best Halloween movie ever is the quintessential tale of craziness, dancing, singing, and best yet....Tim Curry in lingerie singing the alliteration heave.....the sweet Transvestite from Transexual Transylvania!!!!!
