Mila Ramos writes a heart-gripping tale here in Smoldering Ember. Cassie is rightfully hurt and torn. She doesn’t know if she can forgive the unforgivable. Ethan is torn as well. He’s in a difficult situation and is unsure how to get out of it. The emotional depth of the characters will keep you coming back for more.
In the second story, Touch of Fire, Kat is a strong woman. She doesn’t need anyone or anything. She learned the hard way that depending on someone else gets you hit, beaten and betrayed. She put her trust in the wrong people and now it’s coming back to haunt her. Will she be able to survive to dance and love again? Or will the past come back to take it all away?
Mila Ramos once again brings vibrant characters to life in Touch of Fire. Kat’s a fiery woman. She has learned to be strong, but still has her softness. I found myself really admiring Kat a lot. I would want her as my friend and fear her as my enemy! Ben is an FBI agent you will want to be trapped in a room with. Oh please, I want to be in protective custody! Yum.
Both of these stories are part of the Torrid Teasers and are truly HOT! You will definitely need new panties if you pick up this book!
